Assembly & Sourcing

PCB assembly and component sourcing — SMT & through-hole, one vendor

We place the components too, sourced through PartsForYou — our own parts network — one vendor for the whole build.

What's included
  • SMT & through-hole
  • Parts via PartsForYou
  • One invoice, one contact

Why this gets scoped separately

A bare fabricated board still needs someone to source the BOM and place the components — usually a second vendor, sometimes a third, each with their own lead time and their own point of failure. A part going out of stock between quoting and assembly is the kind of thing that stalls a build for weeks when it's not caught early.

// what's included

What this capability actually covers

1

SMT and through-hole placement

Surface-mount and through-hole component placement on the same order as fabrication — populated boards, ready to ship.

2

Parts sourced via PartsForYou

Component sourcing runs through PartsForYou, our sister sourcing operation — authorized-distributor parts across Mouser, Digi-Key and Element14, with end-of-life and lead-time risk flagged before a part gets locked into your BOM.

3

Functional test before it ships

Assembled boards get tested before shipment too, on top of the bare-board electrical test fabrication already covers.

4

One invoice, one point of contact

Fabrication, sourcing and assembly on one order and one invoice.

// questions

Frequently asked

Straight answers on how this part of the build actually runs. Anything else, ask us directly.

01

Can you source the components, or do I need to supply them?

Either — send your BOM and sourcing runs through PartsForYou, our sister sourcing operation, or supply your own parts if you already have them on hand (consignment).

02

Do you flag parts that are going end-of-life before you order them?

Yes — end-of-life and lead-time risk get flagged during sourcing, before a part is locked into your BOM, rather than surfacing as a surprise once assembly is already scheduled.

03

Do you do both SMT and through-hole assembly?

Yes, both — on the same build, scoped together with fabrication rather than as a separate order.

04

Is the assembled board tested before it ships?

Yes — functional test on the assembled board, on top of the 100% electrical test the bare fabricated board already gets.
