Custom development boards — design, fabrication and assembly, end to end
From an MCU/SoC choice and a peripheral list to a tested, populated board in your hands. Small-batch bring-up runs are our normal order size, not a special case.
Design
Schematic capture and layout around your chosen MCU/SoC — high-speed and RF-aware routing where the design needs it, DFM-checked before anything is fabricated.
Fabrication
Multi-layer stackups for high-pin-count BGAs and dense routing, ENIG finish for fine-pitch reliability, built locally with no import wait.
Assembly & Test
SMT placement for fine-pitch and BGA parts, then functional test against your bring-up checklist before boards ship — not just a bare fabricated panel.
Small-batch runs
5 to 25 unit prototype/bring-up quantities are our normal order size — the same DFM review and panel setup as a larger run, no minimum-order friction.
Frequently asked
Can you design and fabricate a custom dev board from just an MCU/SoC choice?
Yes — send us the MCU/SoC and your peripheral/connectivity requirements and our engineers can take it from schematic through to a fabricated, assembled board.
Do you handle high-pin-count BGAs and dense routing?
Yes — 2 and 4 layer stackups are available instantly through our quote tool; if your routing needs more layers than that, talk to an engineer and we'll confirm what's realistic for your board.
What quantity do you fabricate for a first bring-up run?
5 to 25 units is typical for a first bring-up/prototype-evaluation batch — our stated minimum order is 5 boards, so this is a normal order size for us, not a special case.
Can you also source the components for the board?
Yes, through our sister site PartsForYou — MCU/SoC, PMIC, connectors and RF modules sourced from authorized distributors, consolidated into one shipment alongside your build.
Do you assemble the board too, or just fabricate bare PCBs?
Both — SMT and through-hole assembly and functional testing are available so you receive a tested, populated board, not just a bare panel.
